Santa Comes to Town! Since the Covid pandemic restrictions meant that we could not hold the usual Kids' Holiday Party, the volunteers, under the leadership of Deb Levin and Lisa Guyman, brought Santa safely to the neighborhood on Saturday December 12. He toured the neighborhood wishing the young (and young at heart) a Very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays while he and his two elves threw wrapped small candy canes to them. Everyone except Santa (who was safely atop the fire engine) wore masks or waved from their front lawns. The parade began just before sunset and lasted until after darkness fell. |
